FOOR, Thomas A.

Professor Foor is an archaeologist who specializes in North American and northern European prehistory. He has conducted research on the Great Plains, Great Basin, Plateau, and in Europe. His research interests include methods and techniques of field archaeology, cultural resource management, quantitative methods, and museology. He earned the Ph.D. degree from University of California, Santa Barbara in 1982. Professor Foor serves as the director of the Montana State Archeological Records and the curator of archaeology for the Department of Anthropology anthropological collections.
